The wonderful 'Not Your Fault' Support group have been meeting at GAS since June. They are a peer-led support group for all men (trans, cis, & intersex) and all non-binary people (masc, femme, both, neither) who have experienced sexual violence.

This space is for anyone who feels that they will benefit from it, or who has been turned away from other services or doesn't feel comfortable navigating them e.g. because they are too gendered.

In person meetings
We meet fortnightly at Glasgow Autonomous Space. You can discuss as much or as little as you want; everything discussed at the meetings will be considered confidential. You can arrive or leave at any time throughout the meeting.
Online group meetings
The online chat group is secret, private, and anonymous. We use hack.chat, which does not ask for any identifying information or email signup; all you need to do is pick a screen name. Message us for the secret link, or ask a friend to get the link for you if you don't want us to know you've asked for it. The link will be different for every meeting.
Gender policy
Anyone who self-defines as a man or non-binary is welcome in our group. We will not be policing the gender(s) of our members and assume that anyone who attends is there because they feel like this group will be helpful to them. Femmes are welcome! We especially welcome anyone who feels unsafe/uncomfortable navigating "women and non-binary" spaces.
What does "peer-led" mean?
It means that—while we have experience in counseling, pastoral care, and accountability processes—we are not professional counselors or therapists. It also means that we operate the group with a non-hierarchical structure, with a focus on solidarity. We try to listen and support one another, rather than tell anyone what to do.
Travel fund
Attendance to the meetings is free. If you need financial assistance to cover travel costs (including taxis for anyone who is unable to or unsafe traveling on public transit), please message us and we will cover as much of your costs as possible. Other notes
We will not ask for any identifying information, or proof of age or address. We will not pressure you to report anything to the police, though we will support you through any reports you choose to make. We are sex worker friendly. If you have any questions, please ask!

All donations go directly into the group: covering costs of running the group like printing flyers, the travel subsidy fund, donating a contribution to the community space we use for meetings, and (if there's anything left over) paying the group facilitators for their time.

Come along to a night of live music to raise money and show solidarity for ongoing campaigns to support those still locked up for opposing the 'Unjust' G20 which took place in Hamburg in July this year. This event is being organised by people involved with Glasgow Autonomous Space but due to a double booking it will take place in another building very close by. If you come to 53 kilbirnie street on the evening of the 22nd you will see signs directing you to this event.

Nobody turned away for lack of funds.....

36 people remain in prison following events which took place in Hamburg before and during the G20, one of whom has been given the most disgusting sentence of 2 years and 7 months despite there being no evidence of his alleged offences......these individuals will pay the price while those who profit from the exploitation of millions of people and the earth's resources continue their assault with impunity.....

We want to raise money to go towards the campaigns which have been set up to support some of those imprisoned for acting against the reckless injustice of the capitalist system and the global elite who perpetuate it.....

We want to raise awareness about the injustice of incarceration and the toxic effect it has on the world in which we live.......

We want you to share in these struggles in any way you can, to bring dreams of a better future into waking life.....

At the end of this month, and every month, come along to Glasgow Autonomous Space for Socialising, watching films, eating stuff, looking at zines, checking out the space, imagining things, watching Adnan play buetiful Kurdish music, watching films, listening to music, maybe dancing? etc etc, come for 10 minutes or for 6 hours! if you cant make it save it for next time !
